Ripley County Reads Park Hop

Explore the beauty of Ripley County through its diverse parks! Embark on a delightful adventure with your family through the Park Hop—a scavenger hunt that takes you through awesome town parks, magical nature trails, and our own Versailles State Park. It’s like a treasure hunt, but with nature as your playground!

Grab your passport and let the fun begin! Visit as many parks as you can, unravel the clues, and mark your passport. Bring your passport and finish your journey at the Park Hop Finale on May 2nd.

The Park Hop will conclude with a Finale celebration on May 2nd at the Oak Grove Shelter in Versailles State Park from 11am to 1pm. The first 50 families to arrive will receive a swag bag, and all families attending will be entered into a drawing for an Indiana State Park pass ($50 value).

This year we will host the Finale alongside the Art in Nature Art Show & Artisan Demonstrations! Enjoy exciting activities, including: swag bags, watch demonstrations in glass blowing, blacksmithing, basketmaking, and hands-on art experiences – try pottery, wood-turning, marble art and more.
